Stewart Clarke Fine Furniture and Interior Design is a third generation family owned business. Founded in 1940 by James Stewart Sr. and Durwood Clarke in downtown Kalamazoo. After 19 years with Leath Furniture Company decided to leave this national chain to begin a successful independent locally owned home furnishing and decorating store.
